In order to preserve the character and environmental heritage of the Estate, architectural and aesthetical guidelines have been introduced as part of the overall development plan that identifies Newmark. All building plans must conform to the published guidelines and handed in at the office for approval by the Aesthetical Committee before it is handed to the local authority for final approval. Owners, their architects and contractors are encouraged to visit the office to discuss with the Estate Manager the aesthetical guidelines before building plans are prepared.

Building activities and access to the Estate of all contractors and construction workers are controlled to ensure the integrity of the Estate’s aesthetical and security protocols.
